Tickets and Audit log
- Ticketsbring your own support address. In a queue's settings, connect an address like [email protected], follow the step-by-step recipe for your mail provider (Google Workspace, Gmail, Microsoft 365, cPanel, Cloudflare, Zoho, Fastmail, iCloud and others) to forward it to the queue, and send a test that proves the forward works. If your provider emails a confirmation code, it shows up right there for you to use; Missived never opens its links. Verify your domain with a few DNS records (the steps are written for your DNS host) and your team's replies go out as your own address; until then they go out as "your team via Missived" and still come back to the ticket. Off until we finish setting up the tickets mail domain.
- Ticketsteam tools. New tickets can go to agents by round robin, least busy or skills — only people who are online, never someone who paused new assignments. Rules can set a ticket's priority and tags from its subject, sender or a field. Saved replies (type
/ in a reply) fill in the person's name and can also mark the ticket solved or tag it, and each agent can keep an email signature. Queues can set SLA targets in business hours; agents see "Due in 45 min" / "Overdue" and get a warning before a target is missed. Snooze a ticket until later, change many at once (bulk changes never email anyone), save views, and see Insights — volume, busy hours, response times and how many met their target, with numbers per agent for Owners and Admins only. Queues can also have up to ten custom fields, some asked of the person when they send a request.
- Audit logThe Who column now shows workspace names instead of raw member ids, including booking actions and older entries. Bots, system actions, assistants and Missived staff are clearly badged.
- Ticketsclient portals now have Help, where each contact asks and follows only their own requests. A personal API and six assistant tools can triage, add internal notes and draft replies; sending always waits for the agent to confirm in Missived. Queue managers can set closed-ticket retention, erase a contact with their tickets and files, and include Tickets in existing data exports. Ticket events are personal connections only.
Booking links
- Booking linksconnect another calendar (Google, Outlook, Apple iCloud, Fastmail) by its secret iCal address, and its busy times block your booking pages. Only when you're busy is kept — never titles, people or places — and the address is stored sealed, shown only by its last four characters. Booking page → Availability → Busy from another calendar.
- Booking linksZapier and Make can now watch your booking page: New booking and Booking cancelled triggers (Zapier also Booking rescheduled) and a Cancel booking action, with a personal token. Zapier app 1.4.0, Make app 1.3.0.
- Shared categoriesasking to share a category by email now reaches your own address too, so an Admin can send a category to a workspace they own or run and accept it there. Before, such a request sent no email, never showed in Activity and held the category for 14 days. The share dialog now says what happens next and what to do if nothing arrives.
- Dashboardsa new channel type made of widgets: clients waiting on your reply, overdue client requests, Tables changed since you last looked, shared categories, your upcoming bookings and signatures out. Start from a set (Client work, Team, Sharing) or add widgets one at a time, then size and order them.
- Dashboardseveryone sees only their own slice. A widget never shows anything you couldn't already open, and one you can't use simply isn't there. It refreshes about once a minute while it's on screen.
- Dashboardson a phone a dashboard reads as stacked cards; arranging it is on a computer. On Ministry, Creator and Business.
- Billingpaid add-ons. Owners and Admins find them in Org Settings → Billing → Add-ons: try one free for 14 days with no card, add it to your plan's subscription, change how many, or remove it. Ending an add-on never deletes anything; it stays readable for 30 days. The first is Tickets ($5 per agent a month, or $50 a year, on Ministry, Creator and Business), which is still being built.
- Dashboardseleven new widgets: quiet forum threads, Stages this week, who you follow is live, prayer requests waiting, reading plan progress, groups looking for players, upcoming events, recent recordings, your Missived contact, a note, and a number worked out from a Table.
- Dashboardsnew starter sets for a team, a ministry and a community. Each adds only the widgets your workspace can use.
- Dashboardsas before, everyone sees only their own slice: a quiet thread's first line only if you can read that forum, an anonymous prayer request never says who asked, and a Table number counts only the rows you can see.
- Ticketsa new channel type, Tickets, for workspaces with the Tickets add-on. A queue's team works Mine, Unassigned and All open (overdue first) with statuses, priority, tags, an owner, notes only the team sees, merge, split and follow-ups, and sees when someone else is writing a reply. Make a ticket from any chat message.
- Ticketsa queue can be opened to members' requests (everyone, chosen roles or departments). Members then see a Request button, ask for help in a short form, and follow their own requests in My requests, with replies and updates in Activity. Guests and client-portal contacts never see it, and nothing is emailed.
- Dashboardsconnect a webhook to a widget: send your own JSON (a number, status lights, a list, bars, a small table or a card), or point GitHub, Sentry, Linear, Stripe, PagerDuty or GitLab at it. Each widget has its own address, shown once; signed updates are checked against the service's secret.
- Dashboardswatch a URL: a status page, a JSON address (pick the fields to show) or an RSS / Atom feed, checked from our servers every 5 minutes on Business and every 15 elsewhere. Test shows what it would draw before you save.
- Dashboardsshow a connector you already follow — Twitch, YouTube and Kick live streams, game servers, feeds, Planning Center and supporter counts. People see it only if they can open the connector's channel.
- Dashboardsthese widgets update on screen within seconds, need Manage integrations to set up, and go through your workspace's word filter.
- Ticketstickets by email. Each workspace with the Tickets add-on gets an address on tickets.missived.com for its main queue (other queues can have their own); an email opens a ticket, answers thread back into it, and your team's replies are emailed to the person who wrote, with 10 seconds to undo and a delivered / bounced mark on each. Notes never leave Missived. Acknowledgements and "solved" emails are switches per queue, and mail that fails sender checks waits in a Spam list instead of reaching your team. Off until we finish setting up the mail domain.
- DashboardsMy dashboard — your own page of widgets in each workspace, under More. Nobody else sees it, and every widget still shows only what you can already open.
- DashboardsPin to My dashboard — any widget's ⋯ menu copies it to your own dashboard, on phones too. It copies the widget's settings, never what it shows; notes, webhooks and watched addresses stay where they are.
- DashboardsPresent — show a dashboard full screen on a wall screen: larger type, a clock, updated every minute, and the screen stays on. It uses your own sign-in, so it only ever shows what you can see.
- Dashboardsyour AI assistant can build a dashboard for you: ask it for "a dashboard for client follow-ups" and it picks widgets from the catalogue, checks each one, and adds them. Whatever it makes starts private to you and shows up in Activity with Undo.
- Dashboardswidgets fed from outside wait for you: when an assistant or automation asks for a webhook widget, you confirm it in Missived, and its address (and any service's signing secret) is shown and typed only there.
- Dashboardsapps can keep their own widgets up to date (sales today, open incidents, a status list), in six fixed shapes with no HTML. An app never reads a dashboard. New public API routes, a Bot SDK helper, and Add / Update dashboard widget actions for Zapier, Make and n8n.
- Ticketsa web form and a status page. A queue can take requests from a public form at tickets.missived.com/<your workspace> (or a frame on your own website). The person confirms their email with a six-digit code, gets a private link to follow their request, and can reply, add files, say it's solved or reopen it — never seeing your notes, tags, who has it or anyone's email address. Lost links can be emailed again. Business queues may skip the code; those requests say "Unconfirmed address" until an agent replies.
- Websitethe churches, creators and business pages are now full plan pages, with real screenshots of what each plan adds, clear marks for what's only on that plan, and what the next plan up brings.
- Websitethe Enterprise page now covers the dedicated instance, single sign-on, the account rep and support space, audit and encryption, and what's still in development, plainly labelled.
- BillingThe Upgrade dialog takes a referral code. A discount code shows what it takes off and is applied on Stripe's page; every code says plainly that the person who shared it may earn a fee and sees only totals, never your workspace. Remove takes it off again.
- BillingA link like missived.com/r/CODE fills the code in when you sign up and upgrade later; it sets one cookie on our own domain holding only the code, for 90 days.
- Partner programPartners we invite accept the agreement and get a Partner program page under More: their codes and link, monthly totals (small numbers shown as "fewer than 3"), statements with a CSV, and their terms. Payouts are by hand for now.
- DashboardsWith the Tickets add-on, add a Help desk starter or individual widgets for tickets waiting on you, overdue work, unassigned tickets, oldest unanswered requests and this week’s figures. Choose one queue or every queue you can open. Weekly figures appear only for queue managers; requesters and people outside a queue see none of its tickets.
Messages encrypted at rest in every workspace
- Move from DiscordStart the import now makes what the preview showed — roles in Discord's order with their powers, categories, channels with topics, slow mode and 18+, permissions, forum tags, event drafts, a pinned Welcome message and (if ticked) the server's icon. It runs on the server with a progress bar, picks up where it left off after a restart, and lists anything it couldn't make and why. No messages are copied yet. For 7 days an Owner can undo it, which deletes only what the import made and tells the workspace's Owners and Admins.
- Move from Discordafter an import, paid workspaces can copy chosen channels' recent history — pinned messages and the last days of messages (up to 90 days on Ministry and Creator, 365 on Business), with each person's name and avatar, files, reaction counts, replies and thread replies. The bot announces it in the Discord channel first and reads nothing until the wait is over (a day, unless an Owner shortens it); anyone who reacts 🚫 is left out. Nobody is notified, direct messages are never read, and Undo removes the copies with their channels.
- Self-hostingreplying to a missed-message email is now its own switch, off unless the server's admin turns it on, so a server can take mail for channel email addresses without also taking email replies. Self-hosted servers that used replying by email need to switch it on again (see the email-in guide). The incoming-mail port can now be opened from the server's settings file instead of a separate compose file.
- missived.comThe "Switching from Discord" comparison now says who Missived is for (communities, churches, creators, gamers and businesses up to large enterprises), states plainly that every call is encrypted between your device and our media server but isn't end-to-end, and lists voice channels, Stages, and the bots, apps, API and automation tools on our side.
- Move from Discordafter an import, Bring people over can post a "Join on Missived" invite in the Discord channels you choose (a Member link that works for 7 or 30 days) and a "we've moved" note in each channel that came over, saying where it carries on here. Mentions are off in every post. One button turns the links off and takes the posts down, and Undo does the same. Nobody is added for them: people join with the link.
- Switching from Discordthe page's "Moving your server" section now walks through the importer with real screenshots.
- Move from Discorda role with Administrator now shows one line, "Full control", instead of a long list: people with it are offered Admin once they join and link their Discord account, and an Owner approves each one (in Activity and Org Settings → Members). The Discord server's owner can be offered Owner, confirmed with the approving Owner's password. Nobody becomes an Admin just by importing.
- Move from Discordthe Discord rights that don't come over as they are are grouped under each role, collapsed, each with the reason: what Owners and Admins do here, what works differently, and the few with no equivalent.
- Move from Discordevery bot in your server is named, with its picture and what does its job in Missived (MEE6, Carl-bot, Dyno, ticket, music, notifier and game bots and more), plus notes for porting your own bot.
- Move from Discordafter an import, Set up what your bots did gives each bot we recognise a card. You can follow a YouTube or Kick channel or a feed in the channel the bot used, make a tickets forum, or see that your welcome and Discord roles already came over. Each one asks before it does anything.
- Virtual OfficeOwners and Admins can decorate a floor. The layout editor has a new Decor tab with about fifty pieces in seven groups — seating, tables and counters, plants, walls and windows, floor coverings, fun, and outdoors — each in four colourways. Turn a piece with R, copy it with ⌘D / Ctrl+D, stretch rugs, counters, pews and water, and bring it to the front or send it back. Decor shows on the floor, the mini-map and the phone map in both Midnight and Daylight, and it's only for looks: people walk over it and it never changes what anyone hears.
- Call recordingOwners and Admins can have every finished recording copied to the workspace's own Google Drive or OneDrive (Org Settings → Recordings → Automatic export, Business plan). Copies are resumable and checked against the service's checksum, each recording shows "Copied to Google Drive ✓", a problem pauses the destination with one notice, and the recording banner says where it will be copied. Missived can only see the files it puts there. Off until the server's Google / Microsoft apps are set up.
- Virtual OfficeStart a floor from a template. Owners and Admins pick from Church campus, Guild hall, Coffee shop, Streamer studio, Classroom, Family home, Retreat and Open office, each drawn at the floor's own size with its rooms, tables, decor and jukeboxes. A new space can start from one, and the layout editor's "Start from a template" opens one as a draft: your tables keep their names and chats, your jukeboxes keep their playlists, and nothing is saved until you press Save. A template's new jukeboxes start with rain, a fireplace or room sound, paused. "Restore previous layout" brings back the layout a save replaced, for 7 days.
- Call recordingwhen a recording is ready, whoever started it — and anyone an Owner or Admin chooses — gets an email with a link to it in Missived (they sign in to open it, so a forwarded email gives nobody access). An Owner can also choose to attach short audio recordings (10 MB or less) for the people chosen; it's off by default. Org Settings → Recordings → Automatic export, Business plan.
- Privacymessages, direct messages and group chats are now stored encrypted in every workspace, under a key that belongs to that workspace alone, with their link previews and app cards, forum titles, posts waiting to be sent, meeting chat and what AutoMod keeps. Older messages are sealed in the background. It isn't end-to-end encryption: our servers still open messages to show them, search them and run moderation.
- Searchmessage search keeps working everywhere, encryption included. Every word you type must match (any form of it), and the last word also matches as the start of a word; exact phrases and misspellings aren't matched.
- Org SettingsSecurity → Encryption shows Owners and Admins what is and isn't encrypted, how far sealing has got, and what end-to-end encryption will cost when it comes. Owners can rotate the workspace key there, after confirming it's them.
- Shared categoriesa workspace that had switched message encryption on can now share categories.
- Virtual OfficeSpaces can have a sound. In the layout editor, Owners and Admins give a room, lounge, booth or stage one of twelve built-in sounds (rain, fireplace, room tone, ocean, a stream, forest birds, night crickets, wind, a thunderstorm, or white, pink or brown noise), set how loud it is, and press Listen to try it. You hear it inside the space, fading out just past its edge, coming through a room's door and muffled through its walls; a booth keeps its sound in. The floor shows each space's sound under its name, and the templates' spaces come with theirs.
- Virtual OfficeOne "Office sounds" level and switch for everything the office plays that isn't a person (jukeboxes, the spaces' sounds and floor music), with Music and Ambience inside it, in the office's sound menu, Settings and on phones. Off plays nothing at all. Every sound is made in your browser; nothing is downloaded.
- SettingsA new About tab lists every sound Missived plays and where it comes from. The Virtual Office's sounds and the call chimes are made in your browser by Missived's own code, so nothing is downloaded and nobody else's recordings are used. Any recording or music we ship later will be listed there with its author and licence. On a phone it's You → About.
- Notificationsa notification about a direct or group message now says who sent it ("New message from Ann"), not what, and an email about one you missed counts them instead of quoting them. You can turn the text back on in Settings → Notifications ("Show message text for direct messages and group chats"); "Don't include message text in notifications", yours or your workspace's, still wins.
- PrivacyAutoMod's log keeps nothing from direct or group messages any more, only which rule, who, where and when; older lines lose their text too.
- Reportingreporting a direct or group message now says, before you send it, that the workspace's Owners and Admins will see that message.
- EmailMissived now refuses to send email to a mail server that won't encrypt the connection, instead of sending it unencrypted.
- Security pagea new "What's encrypted today" table lists every part of Missived, how it's protected on the way and when stored, and who can read it, with an honest answer to "is it end-to-end encrypted?" (not yet; it's on the roadmap).
- Word filtermessages that come in from a Telegram or Discord bridge, and emails sent to a channel's email address, now pass the same word filter as everything else — the list that applies everywhere on Missived and your workspace's own words. A refused message isn't posted (nothing is said in the other chat; an email gets a plain bounce that never repeats the words). Incoming webhooks are unchanged.
- AppearanceOwners and Admins can give a workspace its own accent colour (Settings → Org Branding → Org Accent Color). Everyone in that workspace sees it in Midnight and Daylight — darkened or lightened where needed so links stay readable — unless they picked a Personal Accent Color, which always wins. Switching workspaces switches the accent.
- Appearancefixed the Org Accent Color swatches changing only your own accent instead of the workspace's.
- Move from DiscordMinistry and Creator can now copy up to a year of a Discord channel's history, like Business (Free stays structure only). Before you start, the Recent history step shows how much storage you have free and, once you've copied a channel before, roughly how much the new copy may take; copied files count toward your storage like any upload, and if storage fills the rest of the messages still come over with a note in place of each file.
- Account reps (Business)Missived can now give a Business workspace a named account rep. A rep sees only the workspaces assigned to them and only counts and names — plan, seats, how many people were active, storage, your Owners' and Admins' names and billing status — never messages, files, calls or your member list. Looking up an address or reading a bug report asks the rep to confirm it's them, and every look shows in Org Settings → Audit log with a Missived badge and plain words.
- Privacythe Data Processing Addendum, privacy details and the subprocessor list now describe account reps, and the bug report form says a rep can see that a report was sent.
- Booking linkson Ministry, Creator and Business, anyone in a workspace can publish a booking page where people outside it pick a time with them — no account needed. Set your weekly hours and days off, the kinds of meeting you offer (lengths, where it happens, your questions, notice, gaps and daily limits), and publish. Free times leave out what's already on your Missived calendar.
- Booking linksbookers confirm with a six-digit code we email them, then get a calendar invite and a link to reschedule or cancel. The booking is a normal meeting on your calendar, and new, moved and cancelled bookings show in Activity.
- Booking linksOwners and Admins choose who may publish a page and how long bookers' answers are kept, in Org Settings → Booking pages.
- Account repsreps now see a once-a-day health score for each account (Healthy, Watch or At risk, worked out from counts such as how many people were active and which setup steps are done — never messages or what any one person did), the setup checklist, and a schedule of check-ins: a welcome, day 7, day 30, then quarterly, plus one when health drops or a payment fails. Each check-in has suggested wording to copy into their own email, and the rep records how it went.
- Account repsencrypted private notes per account, "Ask to reassign", reminders in Activity and one morning digest, and team numbers for Grand Admins (first contact, on-time check-ins, health over time, retention).
- Booking linksbooking pages wear your workspace brand — its logo, accent colour and first mode — set in the new Org Settings → Brand tab, which client portals share. Booking emails carry it too, and "Send me a test email" shows you one.
- Booking linksadd a photo to your booking page (crop it right there), or use your account photo or your initials. The preview shows the page in Midnight or Daylight, on a phone or a computer.
- Booking linkson Business, hide "Powered by Missived" on booking pages. With the separate booking site, put your page on your own website with a copy-paste code.
- Account repsBusiness Owners and Admins now see their Missived contact in Org Settings → Your Missived contact: who they are, an Email button, "Chat with Missived in the app", the setup checklist with a link for each step, and exactly what the contact can see, with the numbers as they see them today.
- Account repsan Owner can switch on "Don't contact us unless we ask" and choose which Owners and Admins hear from the contact. Contacts can send a short service message or update to their accounts (one email per person, no tracking, also in Activity); updates have an unsubscribe link.
- Booking linksyour booking page in the API and for assistants: list your pages, event types, free times and bookings, or cancel one, with a personal token (
bookings:read / bookings:write); new booking.created, booking.rescheduled and booking.cancelled events. Apps never get bookings. An assistant can answer "what's my booking link?" and "when am I free next week?".
- Booking linksOwners choose whether bookers' email addresses appear in events and the API (Org Settings → Booking pages; off by default). The workspace export now includes booking pages and bookings.
- Account repsBusiness workspaces can have a Missived Support space: a shared category with your Missived contact for chat, files and calls, on our own servers. Your contact sends it and an Owner accepts it from Activity or Org Settings → Your Missived contact. It's included with Business and doesn't count toward your shared categories.
- Booking linksclient portal contacts can book a call from their portal, signed in with no code, once a host turns on "Offered in client portals" for an event type. The call shows under Calls and in the portal's History.
- Booking linksthe fan hub can show a Book a call button for one of your listed event types.
- Booking linksbooked calls carry a Booked chip on the Meetings page, and the host (or an Owner / Admin) sees the booking's details (who booked, their time zone and answers) on the meeting.
Call recording, the app's own dialogs, and integrations stay out of shared categories
- Filesuploads are checked more fairly. A CSV that Windows labels as an Excel file, a spreadsheet export saved as .xls, and calendar invites, contact cards, RTF and XML files upload again, while pictures, PDFs and web pages with the wrong name are still turned away. A few slow uploads no longer make everyone else's uploads say "busy", a file too big for the virus check says so instead of "try again", and the "contains macros" warning now shows for client-portal files too. A file turned away from a bridged chat or an emailed message is listed under the post instead of holding the message back, and an Anki deck's image with the wrong extension no longer stops the import.
- Shiftsthe week view stays on the right days across a daylight-saving change: next week starts on Monday, a late-Sunday shift stays in its week, and Duplicate keeps the same time of day.
- Planning Centera Services reminder late on the Saturday before the clocks change says "tomorrow" again.
- Desktop app 0.1.11push to talk while another app is in front (a Mac asks for Accessibility once), screen sharing that keeps your mic on, the walkable Virtual Office with rooms, quiet booths and jukeboxes, the ⌘K / Ctrl+K quick switcher, relative message times, client portals, and clearer sign-in (Microsoft and workspace single sign-on open in your browser). Download it at missived.com/download.
- Musicthe YouTube, Spotify and SoundCloud players were removed from office spaces and stream overlays, so those companies never see who's listening. Your own uploaded tracks and the built-in sounds stay. Where a space or overlay used one of those players it's now silent, and the workspace's Owners got a note. Whiteboards no longer embed YouTube videos either.
- Callson Business, the hosts of a voice channel, a Stage or a meeting can record the call (sound, and video too). Everyone in the call sees a Recording banner and hears a short chime when it starts and stops, and so does anyone who joins. Nobody under 18 can be in a recorded call, and direct messages, group calls and categories shared with another workspace are never recorded. Recordings are listed on the channel or meeting page for whoever can open it, to play or download. Owners and Admins see every recording, how much storage they use and how long they're kept in Org Settings → Recordings, and whoever started one is told three days before it's deleted. Your own AI assistant can list and download recordings only if you tick its own box when connecting it; apps and bots never can. It needs setting up on our servers before the Record button appears.
- Everywhereevery "Are you sure?" question and every "that didn't work" note is now the app's own dialog, worded with the action on its button (Delete, Disconnect, Leave…) and red when something is lost. The browser's grey pop-ups, which froze the page and looked different in the desktop app, are gone from Missived.
- Look and feelFixed: changing your accent colour in Settings → Appearance could turn the whole app into a blank grey screen when your browser's storage for Missived was full or blocked. The colour now changes for this visit even when it can't be remembered, a stored colour that isn't a colour is ignored, and if anything ever goes wrong that high up the app shows "Missived couldn't load" with Try again and Reload instead of a blank page.
- Integrationsa channel in a category shared with another workspace takes no integrations from either side, as promised. When a share is accepted, its webhooks, feeds and other connected services (Twitch, YouTube, Kick, supporters, game servers, the daily verse, Planning Center), email addresses and GitHub routes pause, and the share dialog lists them first. They can't be set up, moved or resumed there while the share lasts, email replies to its conversations are turned away with a note, and app link cards aren't drawn there.
- Your dataDownload my data now lists how you sign in: whether you have a password or emailed sign-in links, Google or Microsoft, and any workspace single sign-on. It never includes a secret.
- Waitlistsasking again for a confirmation email gives the new link its full seven days. An unconfirmed address is still deleted 14 days after it was first entered, however often it's re-sent.
- Websitea new page, missived.com/console, shows the Platform Console we run Missived from: capacity and upgrades a person approves, analytics without tracking, plans and limits, service notices, and sign-in and audit records. It says which parts come with the free self-hosted edition and which belong to the hosted service, with real screenshots of made-up data.
- Callsyou can now schedule a Stage for later — an all-hands, a sermon, a town hall. Choose "Host a Stage" on the Events page or "Schedule a Stage" on a voice channel, pick the time, who it's for, other hosts and speakers, and where the summary goes. People tap Remind me (they're reminded a day and 15 minutes before), see a Live now banner and a chip on the voice channel, and get it in their calendar feed with a join link. Doors open 10 minutes early: hosts and speakers check their sound while listeners wait in the room hearing nothing until a host taps Go live. Listener names show only to hosts. When it ends, everyone is told, and a summary card (how long, how many listened) is posted in the channel you chose. On every plan with Stages; not yet in categories shared with another workspace.
- Callsa scheduled Stage can have a Q&A. People ask questions (up to 500 characters) and upvote the ones they want answered, sorted by Top or New; the question being answered is pinned for everyone. If the Stage allows it, you can tick Ask without my name: the question then shows as "Anonymous" to everyone, the hosts included. Hosts can hold questions for review before anyone sees them (a guest's always are), mark one as being answered or answered, set it aside, bring the person who asked up to speak, delete it, clear them all, and download the questions as a spreadsheet or Markdown. Questions open when the doors open, or as soon as the Stage is published if the hosts choose. Anyone whose question is deleted is told, and your questions are in Download my data.
- Chata direct message's text box now says "Message" and the person's name, instead of an empty "Message @".
- Client portalsin the desktop app, a client's invite and sign-in pages say that portals open in your web browser, with a button to continue there, instead of asking for a password a client doesn't have.
- Tableswhen a file's column goes into a Person column and rows are flagged, the import explains that people are matched by their email in the workspace, never by name, and how to keep the names as text.
- E-signaturessenders now see the note that e-signatures aren't for IRS e-file authorisations (Forms 8879 / 8878), on the page and when sending. Owners and Admins will be able to switch e-signatures off in Org Settings → Features once they're available.
- Self-hostingthe Platform Console's capacity page no longer shows our hosting provider's upgrade tools, plan codes or prices on a self-hosted server.
- Look and feelevery kind of channel now has its own icon wherever it appears — the sidebar (on computers and phones), the Ctrl/⌘K switcher, the channel header, search results and Org Settings. Prayer, Flash cards, Tables, Forums, Looking for group and Bible study no longer look like plain chat, and a client portal's Messages, an event chat, a shared view of a Table, a read-only copy of a shared channel, a members-only chat and a voice channel in Stage mode each say what they are at a glance.
- Move from DiscordOwners and Admins can connect their own Discord bot in Org Settings → Integrations → Move from Discord and read a server's shape: its categories, channels, roles, permissions, upcoming events and rules. Nothing is read from messages or direct messages, and nothing is made in the workspace yet; choosing what comes over and the import follow.
- Connectionslink your Discord account under Settings → Connections. Discord tells Missived only who you are — never your email or your servers — and no Discord token is kept. It needs setting up on our side before it appears.
- Rolesa custom role can follow a Discord role on a server your workspace is connected to, checked with your workspace's own bot; members lose it when they lose the Discord role or unlink.
- Moving from Discordmembers can claim the messages a move from Discord copied over for their Discord account, in channels they can open, and undo it later.
- Websitea new "Switching from Discord" page: an honest side-by-side, running both with a bridge, and swapping your Discord webhook addresses.
- Look and feelFixed: a full or blocked browser storage, a damaged saved setting, or an unexpected answer from the server no longer turns the whole app grey. Every Settings, Org Settings and Console tab, and the channel and category dialogs, now show "couldn't load" with Reload for just the part that failed.
- Privacynobody in a workspace sees another member's email any more. People are named by the name they use in that workspace, then their account name, then "Member" — never their email or the part before the @. Owners and Admins still see addresses where they manage people (Members, Guests, invites, the audit log).
- Privacyapps, tokens, assistants and webhooks no longer receive people's email addresses.
- Callsvoice channels and the Virtual Office show each person's workspace name, not the start of their email.
- Chat@mentions find people by name and keep working when someone has no name set; direct messages are titled with the other person's name.
- Tablesexports name people by their workspace name; Owners and Admins still get addresses so the file can be imported back.
- Invitationsemailed invitations come from Missived and name you by your workspace name; your email address is added for replies only when you tick "Let them reply to me". Meeting invitations do the same unless you tick "Let invitees reply to me by email" under More options.
- Profileswhen you create or join a workspace, Missived asks "How should people here know you?" — the name, shape and colour everyone there sees. Change it any time from the workspace menu → "Your profile in <workspace>"; members who never chose one get a gentle reminder.
- Integrationsthe Discord bridge now handles each channel's messages strictly in the order Discord sends them, so an edit made right after a post is no longer lost.
- Move from Discordafter reading a server, Owners and Admins see what comes over before anything is made: every category, channel, role and upcoming event with its Missived equivalent, to skip, rename or send into a channel you already have; how each role's and channel's permissions translate, with a list of what has no counterpart (Administrator, Kick / Ban, overrides for single people); warnings when the plan lacks forums, Stages or the Events page; and what replaces each bot (MEE6, Carl-bot, Dyno, StreamElements, Twitch and YouTube notifiers).
Assistant dates and word-filter fixes
- Virtual Office jukeboxesOwners, Admins and office managers can put jukeboxes on a floor in the layout editor and choose how far each one carries. A jukebox plays tracks from the workspace's audio library, or a built-in Rain, Fireplace or Room tone sound, in order and in sync for everyone nearby. It's loudest close by, fades as you walk away, is muffled through walls and can't be heard in a quiet booth. Music dips under the voices you can hear, and you set your own jukebox volume or turn jukeboxes off. "Music nearby" in the office panel, also on phones, shows what's playing, and the people a jukebox allows can play, pause, skip and change the queue. YouTube, Spotify and SoundCloud still play only in a floor's own music player.
- PlansBilling now follows the Terms. A smaller plan or monthly instead of annual starts at your renewal, with nothing credited, and Billing shows "Changes to … on <date>" with a Cancel change link; a bigger plan still starts at once. If a payment fails, Owners and Admins are told straight away and again on day 5, with a banner and a link to Billing; if it's still unpaid after 7 days the workspace becomes read-only (everyone can still read, search, export and delete) until it's paid, when it's writable again at once, or an Owner moves it to Free. Nothing is deleted. Yearly plans get a reminder email 7 days before they renew, and sales tax is worked out at checkout. The only refund is a new subscription's first payment within 14 days.
- AccountOwners of a Business workspace can now require single sign-on for members whose address is on a verified domain (Org Settings → Security). Their password, Google and Microsoft sign-ins stop working, their other sessions end, and each of them is emailed how to sign in. Owners and Guests always keep their own ways in, so you can't lock yourselves out, and an Owner can make it optional again at any time. Owners can also sign someone out of every single sign-on session, and a domain whose DNS record goes missing for three days stops being verified (Owners are emailed).
- Prayerprayer requests, follow-up notices and the daily digest now name people the way your workspace shows them, never by their email address. A Prayer channel opens on its Prayer tab every time you go to it, not just when it's new.
- Chattyping
/verse John 3:16 and pressing Enter posts the passage straight away instead of opening an empty form, and the translation hint lists every translation your workspace has (KJV, WEB, BSB, ASV and any you've added).
- Look and feelkeyboard shortcut hints show ⌘ and ⇧ on a Mac (in the desktop app and the browser) and Ctrl and Shift elsewhere, including the quick switcher, the shortcuts list and Tables.
- Accountif Missived can't be reached when you log in, sign up or join from an invite, the form now says so in plain words ("Can't reach Missived — check your connection and try again") instead of a pop-up saying "Failed to fetch". A wrong password says "That email or password isn't right."
- AccountSingle sign-on now works with SAML 2.0 identity providers as well as OpenID Connect (ADFS, Okta, Entra ID and others). Choose SAML in Org Settings → Security, give your provider the three values shown there, then paste its metadata (or its metadata URL). Responses must be signed with SHA-256, and each one signs in once.
- PlansOwners and Admins can buy a paid plan, change its size, users or storage, and cancel in Org Settings → Billing, paying on Stripe's secure page (Missived never sees your card). Upgrade links in the app take you there. It switches on once we finish setting up payments.
- Virtual Office with a crowda floor with 100 people walking around stays smooth. Your app now gets full-speed movement only for the floor you're on or looking at (a light 2-a-second update for the others' map dots), and a screen share is downloaded only when you sit at the sharer's table.
- AccountBusiness workspaces can now set up single sign-on with their own identity provider (Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, Keycloak or any OpenID Connect provider) in Org Settings → Security: test it first, switch it on, and verify your email domain with a DNS record. People choose Sign in with SSO and type their work email. Someone with an existing account confirms it's theirs once with their password; someone new on your domain answers the age question and joins as a Member. It's optional: everyone's other ways in keep working.
- AccountContinue with Microsoft sits beside Continue with Google: sign up or log in with a personal Microsoft account (Outlook, Hotmail, Xbox) or a work or school account, or add it under Settings → Account & Security → Sign-in methods. Microsoft tells us only your name and email address. An existing account is never linked without its password, and a work address Microsoft doesn't confirm can't be used to find or create an account. Needs setting up with Microsoft before it appears.
- Virtual Office on phonesthe office now says where you are ("Lounge, near Coffee") and lists the people you can hear, loudest first, with where they are and whether a wall is between you. A small map of the space shows everyone's dot; tap it for the full map, pinch and drag to look around, and Go to any room or lounge from there.
- Virtual Officethe floor now fills the page and the view follows you as you walk. Drag or scroll to look around, Ctrl/⌘ + scroll (or +, − and 0) to zoom, and F or "Back to me" to return; the mini-map shows what you're looking at. Ctrl/⌘ + J finds a person or table on the floor with Look, Go to and Sit, and a Nearby list shows who you can hear, loudest first. Arrow keys and W A S D walk whenever the map has focus.
- Virtual OfficeOwners and Admins can now draw a floor's layout: add rooms, quiet booths, a stage corner, lounges, labels and tables, drag and resize them, click a room's wall to add a door, and move the entrance. Undo and redo work as you go, "Preview as member" shows the floor as everyone will see it, and the editor lists anything that needs fixing before it saves. If someone is standing where a new wall goes, they're stepped out to the open floor.
- Virtual Officefloors can have rooms with walls and doors, quiet booths and a stage corner. A voice through a wall is quieter and muffled, through a doorway a little quieter, and nobody outside a quiet booth hears in. Whoever stands on the stage spot reaches everyone in the stage corner. Click somewhere and you walk round the walls and in by the door; the map shows where you are. A new floor can start from Open office, Church, Community hangout or Blank.
- Virtual Officea floor can now be Small, Medium, Large or Huge (room for about 25 to 150 people) instead of 1×, 1.5× or 2×; picking a size keeps every table and person where they were. Ministry and Creator include one floor up to Large, Business two floors up to Huge. A workspace with more floors keeps them all, and "Combine into one map" turns them into one big floor with an area for each.
- WebsiteThe draft Terms, Acceptable Use and privacy details now set out the payment rules we've decided (refunds within 14 days of a first payment, upgrades at once and downgrades at renewal, 30 days' notice of price rises, a reminder 7 days before a yearly renewal, 7 days to fix a failed payment before read-only; billing is being brought in line before paid plans open), how long we keep records, Texas law with courts in Hays County and no arbitration, and our copyright agent. The Ministry plan is open to anyone. They take effect on launch day.
- WebsiteThe legal pages, About page and site footer now name Longsword Security, LLC, doing business as Missived, as the operator, with its Texas business address and contact details in the legal pages.
- PrivacyOld records now delete themselves on a schedule: security and audit records and bug reports after a year, expired sign-in sessions 30 days after they end. Server logs are capped too.
- PrivacyIf we ever make a material change to our privacy promise, every account holder gets an email and an in-app notice at least 30 days before it takes effect.
- WebsiteMissived is offered from the US for US-based use. People in the EU, the UK or elsewhere can join a list on the privacy promise page to hear if we add EU / UK data residency.
- FixesReplying by email to a forum post now works after a moderator moves the post to another forum (the reply was refused). In Looking for group, the waitlist no longer moves someone into a group they couldn't have joined directly, such as beside a person they blocked.
- FixesUndo now works for Table rows deleted through a shared view, from Activity and from the Table's own Undo (it always failed). Word-filter changes an assistant makes at the same moment no longer overwrite each other.
- FixesIn client portals, a contact no longer sees the name of a file the firm moved to Firm only, and can't approve it until it's shared again. Contacts no longer see the titles of envelopes they aren't asked to sign. Reopening a portal no longer clears the closing notice of someone who was removed from it. Signing codes now allow 15 wrong tries and 10 codes a day per signer; asking for a new code no longer resets the tries.
- FixesAn @mention in a channel you can't open no longer notifies you or shows its text in your mentions. Changing or resetting your password, or a suspended account, now also disconnects the apps and assistants you connected and your personal API tokens. A channel's "scheduled messages" list shows only your own (moderators still see everyone's, without email addresses). Member titles, custom role names and department names now respect your workspace's word filter. Members who are timed out can no longer edit their messages, and reactions follow the channel's "Add reactions" setting everywhere. Links in chat that contain unusual characters display correctly.
- FixesIn a category shared with another workspace, the other workspace's people are now named, never shown by email address, in Table CSV and Excel exports, the audit log, notifications (pushes, desktop alerts, missed-message emails) and live Table updates.
- FixesWhen a share ends, the other workspace's copy of a channel holds only messages from before it ended, and the channel can be reopened once that copy has been made (a few minutes at most).
- FixesA Telegram or Discord bridge no longer carries a channel whose category is shared with another workspace. Its link pauses when the share is accepted and can't be resumed or set up again while the share lasts, so the other workspace's messages never reach a chat they didn't agree to.
- FixesChats no longer shows "This page couldn't load" in a browser that reports an unusual language setting (some Linux setups do); message times fall back to your browser's default format instead.
- PlansBusiness is now $7 per active user a month, or $5.60 billed yearly, with a 3-seat minimum ($21 a month). Enterprise is $12 per user a month ($9.60 billed yearly) on your own dedicated instance, from 50 users. Single sign-on is listed on Business and Enterprise, a client portal on your own domain is a coming-soon add-on, and extra storage is added to an existing paid subscription.
- Meetingsa meeting now holds up to 50 people on Ministry, Creator and Business (20 on Free; smaller on Starter sizes), and Enterprise meetings are sized with you. Hosts and co-hosts always get in. When a meeting is full the next person is told so and can try again; for a bigger audience, run it as a Stage in a voice channel.
- WebsiteMissived's founder shares his story, goals and contact details on the About page, with links to the privacy promise, security and self-hosting.
- AI assistantswith your sharing permission, an assistant can now send a category-share invitation directly. Activity names the category, partner and company, with Undo to cancel the invitation or end an accepted share. The partner still approves, and your Owner can require confirmation before invitations go out.
- Service noticesPlanned maintenance and service updates appear live in the app and desktop app, with local times and a dismiss option. Current and planned notices also appear on our status page.
- AI assistantsyour assistant can check your local date, time, saved time zone and workspace week start before scheduling relative dates. If your time zone is unknown, it asks. Tool descriptions now clarify workspace categories, custom roles and portal stages, and when builders need more details.
- Word filterhand-off notes and flash-card deck names, descriptions, cards and tags now respect your workspace's word filter when you create or edit them in the app.
- Virtual OfficeSharing your screen no longer mutes your microphone. With push to talk on, a mic you clicked on stays on while the screen picker is open, and if your microphone does go off during a share it comes back on and tells you. If your computer pauses your microphone, the office bar now says "Mic paused" instead of showing "Live".
- Virtual OfficeA tablemate's shared screen opens bigger. Drag any edge or corner to resize it, double-click its title bar or press ⤢ to fill the floor above the office bar (Esc restores it), or pop it out into its own window in Chrome and Edge. It remembers its size.
- Push to talkIn the desktop app, push to talk now also works while another app is in front, for everyone who hasn't switched it off. If your Mac hasn't allowed it, the office's audio settings say how to fix it, with buttons to open System Settings and check again. In a browser, it says that push to talk works only while the tab is focused.
- Platform ConsoleAll of the Console's tabs can be reached at any window width. Scroll the tab row with a mouse wheel or trackpad, drag it, use the ‹ › buttons, or move between tabs with the arrow keys.
- Websitemissived.com/security now walks through where your data goes (with a diagram), how it's encrypted on the way and when it's stored, what we can and can't see, how sign-in and workspaces are protected, how we stop abuse, and how we keep the service secure, including what's still to come.
Event sign-ups, organiser tools, Bible study plans and client portals
- FixesOpening a whiteboard during a call no longer drops you out of the call when Missived has been updated since you opened the tab — the whiteboard says it needs a reload instead, and the call carries on. Org Settings → Integrations opens again (it showed a blank grey screen). A channel no longer shows an empty conversation after your computer wakes from sleep; it loads by itself. If any page or settings section ever fails to load, you now get a "couldn't load" note with Reload instead of a blank screen.
- Client portalsWhen a firm closes or deletes a client's portal, or removes them from it, the client now sees "This portal was closed by <firm>" with the firm's logo, what happened and when, the download while it's still open, and a contact line the firm can set in Org Settings → Client portal branding — instead of a blank "no workspaces" screen.
- ChatMessage times now say Yesterday or the weekday for recent days, then a numeric date for older messages, with the year when needed. Dates and times follow your locale and time zone, including in threads, search, pins, saved messages and client portals. Hover over a time or hold it on a phone for the full date.
- AI assistantsyour assistant (Claude or any MCP client) can now build things for you the way you would in the app — channels of every type and categories, flash-card decks and cards (from a list or a CSV), live quizzes and Bible reading plans — with the same rules: who may, your workspace's word filter, and what your plan includes. Hosting a quiz and ending a plan stay in Missived.
- AI assistantsit can also plan and post for you: Events-page events (saved as drafts until you publish, sign-ups included), polls, messages to post later, prayer requests (anonymous stays anonymous) and Knowledge pages, which are always drafts for your channel's approvers. Cancelling an event and seeing who signed up stay in Missived.
- AI assistantsfor firms with client portals, it can set one up (lead, welcome line, stages, 2FA required), move the work along, add folders and send the client a request for documents or answers — the client is told just as when you do it. Removing a client and closing a portal stay in Missived. It can also rename a channel, set its topic and start a forum post for you.
- AI assistantsif you choose, it can also invite people (to your workspace, as a Guest into a category, or as a portal's client), remind a client, make someone an Admin or a Member, and switch features off or on — straight away, with your own rights. These are two extra boxes on the connect screen (Invite people and share outside the workspace, Change settings and roles), both unticked; an assistant you already connected asks again to get them. Everything it does this way shows in your Activity with Undo for 30 days where it can be undone, and invitation links go only to the invitee by email.
- AI assistantswith Change settings and roles ticked, it can also remove and delete for you, with your own rights: take someone out of the workspace, delete a channel, category, event, flash-card deck, quiz, message or Table rows, end a reading plan, close a client portal, remove a portal's client, cancel a request or delete an empty folder, change the word filter (Owners only — it hears how many words changed, never the words) and hand a category to someone for a while. People are told just as when you do it. It all shows in your Activity, with Undo for deleted Table rows, a closed portal, the word filter and a hand-off.
- AI assistantswith Invite people and share outside the workspace ticked, it can also publish a shared view of a Table (with Undo), message everyone signed up for an event you organise, and ask to share a category with another workspace — which always waits for you to confirm with your password in Missived. Owners can switch on Ask before the assistant shares outside the workspace (Org Settings → Integrations → AI assistants): then invitations, client reminders, views and event messages wait in your Activity until you confirm them.
- AI assistantsit can lay out a Table for you (a new Table with its columns, or more columns, renames and choices), check which features your workspace has on, and, for Owners and Admins, read the audit log without anyone's IP address or email. Deleting a column or changing its type stays in Missived.
- Bible studyBible study plans are now on Business too — switch them off in Org Settings → Features if you don't need them. Owners and Admins can open Turn features on or off from the workspace menu on a computer or phone; Business essentials gives workspaces a quick starting point.
- Desktop app 0.1.10Events with sign-ups and check-in QR codes, files (PDF, Word, slides, images, video) open inside the app, a note pointing Google sign-in to your browser, and calendar subscriptions — Subscribe now opens your calendar app. Download it at missived.com/download.
- ChatPress Ctrl+K (⌘K on a Mac) to jump to any channel, category, conversation or person — in any of your workspaces — by typing a few letters; recent and unread places come first, and the last row searches messages instead. Message search itself is now Ctrl+Shift+F. On a phone, tap the search icon at the top of Chats.
- ChatA busy sidebar is easier to keep tidy. Owners and Admins can put categories into named groups that open and close (a big group starts closed). Everyone gets their own view: Unread only, Collapse all, Pin to top for categories and channels, and Hide for me with a Hidden list to bring things back — it follows you to your other devices and changes nothing for anyone else. Type in the new filter box at the top of the sidebar (or press /) to find a channel by name. Right-click, the ⋯ button or a long press on a phone offers all of it.
- Shared categoriesOn Business and Ministry, an Owner or Admin can share a category of chat channels with another organisation: right-click the category → Share with another workspace, say why, and send it to their Owner or Admin by email or as a one-time code. They check three words with you and choose who in their workspace comes in. People from both sides then read and post in those channels, seeing each other's names and pictures but never email addresses; Guests, under-18s and apps stay out, and either side can remove someone from the other. Either Owner or Admin can end it from Org Settings → Shared categories: the workspace that shared keeps its channels read-only and the other keeps a read-only copy. Voice channels come along too: people from both workspaces join the same call, each taking a seat from their own workspace, while the workspace that shared runs the stage and its talking limit; the other workspace's Owners and Admins can mute, move down or remove their own people. Tables come along as well: people from both sides edit the same Table, and its history shows which workspace each change came from; a view of a Table can be shared on its own, so the other workspace sees only the columns and rows it shows. A Table in a shared category can't read another of your Tables that isn't shared too, and only your workspace imports files into it. When a share ends, the other workspace keeps a read-only copy of each Table's values.
- Client portalsOn Business, give each client their own private portal. Choose Client portal when you make a category: it comes with a Messages channel your client sees and a Firm only channel they never do, and you can turn an existing category into one from its ⋯ menu. Invite the client's people by email; they join with one tap and sign in later with a link we email them — no password to remember (the link works once, for 15 minutes, in the browser that asked for it; the email has a code too). Clients see only their portal, under your name, logo and colours (Org Settings → Settings → Client portal branding), and only the staff you put on it. You can require clients to use an authenticator app, choose who may invite, add a welcome message, remove a contact or close a portal (they're told, and nothing is deleted). Client contacts have their own allowance, separate from Guests.
- Client portalsClients can choose Continue with Google instead of the emailed link — on their invite or the portal sign-in page — using the Google account for the address you invited (a different address is refused). If a client already signs in by emailed link, a code emailed to them confirms adding Google. Their authenticator app is still asked for, and a portal that requires one still does. Clients can see and remove Google under Security.
- Client portalsAsk your client for what you need with Requests: files to upload, questions (text, yes / no, a date, a number or a choice), a box to tick, a file to approve, or something to do. Give it a due date and Missived sends gentle reminders at 10:00 their time — a few days before, on the day, then every few days — never more than one email a day (or a weekly summary, if they prefer). Clients see everything on a To do tab with one button per item; you accept an upload or send it back with a reason, and can send a reminder now. Emails say only your name, how many items and when, unless you choose to include titles. A Progress tab shows your stages and a timeline of what's happened.
- Client portalsAutomations can now hear when a client finishes a request, adds a file or a portal moves stage — only for a portal you pick, and names are left out unless your workspace sends content in events — and scripts and assistants can read a portal's timeline. See the new Client portals API guide.
- Client portalsWhen the work is done, Close a portal: your client can still sign in and download what you shared for a while (30 days unless you choose otherwise), then it's kept for as long as you choose — 7 years by default, 1 to 10, or until you delete it — and Owners and Admins can Delete now after seeing exactly what goes. Add your own billing link for a Billing tab (Missived never sees payments), Schedule a call from the portal so your client gets a Join button on their To do, Ask for approval of a file from its ⋯ menu, and read the portal's History. Portals are in your workspace export, and what a client gave you is in their own data export.
- Client portalsA new Clients page (under More) lists every client portal you work on: its stage, the templates applied, your team's tags, and how many requests are open or overdue. Filter by yours or all, lead, stage, template, tag or overdue — the filters stay in the address, so you can bookmark a view — then tick clients to apply a template, send reminders now or move them all to a stage. Reminders still go at most once a day per request, and your tags are never shown to clients.
- Client portalsStart a portal from a template: folders, stages, requests with due dates and a welcome message, applied from a start date you choose. Four come ready — Individual tax return, Business bookkeeping (monthly), New client onboarding and Engagement letter — and you can make your own in Org Settings → Settings → Client portal templates, or save any portal as one. See what a template will send before you apply it; applying it again from the same date never sends anything twice, and a request can wait until the portal reaches a stage (say, Review). Apply one to many portals at once and Missived works through them a few at a time, so your clients get ordinary request emails, not a flood.
- Client portalsA client's messages no longer show the channel's internal name ("Beginning of #…" and the message box now just say Write a message), and their app stops asking for event notices it can't have.
- Client portalsMake portals look like your firm: add a portal logo (separate from your workspace icon), a cover picture and a welcome banner, tint the header with your colour and choose whether clients start in light or dark — with a live preview as you go (Org Settings → Settings → Client portal branding). Your sign-in page and the emails we send your clients carry your name and logo too, sent as "Your firm via Missived".
- Client portalsView as client on a contact shows their portal exactly as they see it, read-only — nothing you do there acts for them, and each look is recorded in the audit log.
- Client portalsEach portal has a Files tab. Make folders, share the ones the client should see (new folders stay Firm only), upload new versions, and download a folder as a zip. Clients upload into Client uploads, from a phone camera too, and files open right in the app. Your team can see when the client opened each file, and the client is told so.
- Being open about itRead our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy as beta drafts under legal review. Our privacy promise now explains collection, retention, your rights and international processing in more detail; Terms and Privacy are linked from signup and every website footer.
- NotificationsIf a direct message, an @mention or a reply to you is still unread after 15 minutes, Missived emails you about it (at most one email per conversation an hour, and without the message text if your notifications leave it out). Reply to that email and your answer is posted as you, in that conversation — only replies from your account's own address are accepted, and anything you'd quoted is left out. Switch either off in Settings → Notifications, or use the unsubscribe link in the email. Replying needs incoming mail set up on the server.
- PlansNew workspaces now start on the Free plan, with no automatic Creator trial. Workspaces that already exist keep their plan, and trials already running end on their usual date.
- WorkspacesCreate another workspace is in the workspace menu on computers and phones. You can have up to 3 free workspaces; paid workspaces don't count toward that and are each billed on their own, so upgrading one frees a slot. The dialog shows how many you have left, and once it's made you're switched straight into it with a prompt to invite your people.
- PhonesNotifications for DMs and @mentions arrive faster and stop going missing. A message that came in just as you put your phone away used to be skipped, so you'd only hear about the next one minutes later; now it's sent the moment the app leaves your screen, and a phone that was offline gets one notification per conversation instead of a pile. The app's icon shows how many conversations are waiting on you (iPhone and installed Android / computer apps).
- PhonesNew step-by-step install page with pictures for iPhone, iPad, Android and computers, a Turn on notifications button right after it, how to un-block notifications if you said no, and what to check when they're late (Focus, Notification Summary, Low Power Mode, battery saver). It's linked from a one-time card on your phone's chats screen and from missived.com/download, and the installed app offers to turn notifications on once. The app also opens faster on phones, no longer zooms in when you tap a text box on iPhone, and has Chats, Activity and Meetings shortcuts on its icon.
- FixesSwitching workspaces no longer leaves the previous workspace's categories in the sidebar. A new channel of any kind opens straight away (a new forum no longer sits on "Creating…", a new Looking for group channel opens on its Games tab), and a page that can't reach the server says so with Try again instead of loading forever. The Events page and the top bar no longer flash "isn't on in this workspace" or a shorter menu while a workspace is still loading.
- SettingsOn a computer, Settings → Calendar & connections now holds your calendar subscriptions, family list, hand-offs, linked accounts and connected apps (on a phone they stay under You). Questions such as "Turn off this calendar?" or "Delete this deck?" now appear in Missived's own dialog instead of the browser's pop-up, across Events, forums, Looking for group, Bible study and flash cards.
- BibleBerean Standard Bible (BSB) and American Standard Version (1901, ASV) are built in alongside KJV and WEB, free with no key. Pick either for /verse, daily verses or a Bible study channel.
- Bible studyBible study channels are now Ministry-only. Existing Business and Enterprise study channels, reading plans and ticks are kept and can still be read; starting plans and marking readings done need Ministry. Self-hosted installs keep Bible study. Bible verse lookups and daily verses are unchanged.
- EventsOrganisers get their own tools on the event's page. Check people in from a phone at the door: a big search, a tap per person (children one by one), Scan a member's code (each person going has one on the event's page; scanning works in Chrome, Edge and Android — elsewhere, search by name), and add walk-ins who don't have an account. Download the list as a spreadsheet or print a check-in list; allergies, medical notes, phone numbers and children's names are left out unless you tick Include private details. Message everyone going, waiting or not yet paid (in Activity, and by email if you choose). Start an event chat that everyone going joins and leaves on their own, and see the event's Shifts serving positions and how many are filled.
- EventsPeople can now sign up for events right on the event's page: themselves, other adults and children (first name and age), with the organiser's own questions (short answers, choices, yes / no, numbers, once or for each person). Organisers set a capacity, a waitlist (when a spot opens the next family that fits moves up and is told), when sign-ups open and close, until when people can cancel, an 18+ or 13+ limit, and what others see: how many are going, the names of members who choose to show, or nothing. Allergies, medical notes, phone numbers, emergency contacts and children's names are seen only by the organisers and deleted after the event (30 days by default). You get a confirmation, a reminder before it starts and a note if it moves or is cancelled, in Activity and by push or email (switch it off in Settings → Notifications). See everything you're signed up for under My sign-ups, and save the people you often bring under You → Family so they're one tap next time. Teens are never named to other members, and Guests can't sign up.
- EventsPaid events link to your own payment page (Church Center, PayPal, Stripe and so on) with the price shown. Missived never sees payments: people tap "I've paid", organisers mark it paid, waived or refunded, and can remind everyone who hasn't paid. An optional reference code helps match payments.
Files open in the app, Bible study, looking for group, forum channels, Enterprise, age rules and a word filter
- EventsA new Events page shows what's coming up in your workspace, as a list by week or a month you can tap through, with filters by ministry, category and place and a search. Each event has its own page with a picture, the time in your zone (and the event's own), the place with Open in Maps, an online link, a description, who's organising it, Add to calendar and a link to share. Owners, Admins and anyone with the new Manage events power make events, choose who they're for (everyone, or chosen ministries and roles), name organisers who can edit and cancel them, and keep a list of categories and places; a Shifts event can be shown there too. On Ministry, Creator and Business, and Owners can switch it off in Org Settings → Features.
- ChatFiles open right in the app. Click a picture, video, audio file, PDF, Word document, PowerPoint deck, spreadsheet or text file — in a message, the Files tab, a forum post or a meeting's files — and it opens in a viewer instead of a new browser tab: zoom and drag pictures, change playback speed, page through PDFs and slides, switch between a workbook's sheets, and step to the next file with the arrow keys. Long videos start playing straight away. Everything stays on Missived: no outside document viewers. Download and Open in browser are still there.
- TablesA spreadsheet someone shared can become a Table: open it in the viewer and choose Open in a Table to make a new Table from it, ready to import.
- Bible studyOn Ministry and Business, a new Bible study channel type opens on a Study tab with the verse of the day at the top and your group's reading plans below: the whole Bible front to back or in the order things happened (in a year, six months, 90 days or any length you pick), or a focused study of a book or a few chapters at your own pace. Tap today's reading to read it right there (King James or World English Bible, both free to use), mark it done, catch up on days you missed and keep a streak. Everyone sees how much of the group read today and this week, as a percentage — never who. Leaders start, pause and end plans; each day's reading can be posted in the chat so people can talk about it in its thread, and you can ask for a daily reminder.
- PrivacyGuests no longer see the workspace's events or its Planning Center calendar in their calendar subscriptions or calendar — only their own meetings — and an event that isn't published yet never shows to anyone who can't edit it, wherever it's read.
- CalendarThe Google Calendar button for calendar links now works: it opens Google's "Add calendar" prompt with your link filled in (before, Google couldn't read the link it was given). Make a New link to see the buttons again. A new Test button checks a calendar the way Google does and says what's wrong, if anything, and each calendar now shows which apps fetched it ("Fetched by Google Calendar 3 hours ago"). Google refreshes subscribed calendars every few hours on its own schedule; the help now says so, and that adding one works from a computer.
- Desktop app 0.1.9Sign-up in the app asks for your birth year again (0.1.8 couldn't make new accounts), plus the word filter, laser pointers on screen shares, forum and looking-for-group channels, and a stricter security policy inside the app.
- AccountContinue with Google, for signing up and logging in without a password — it turns on once we finish setting it up with Google. Google tells us only your name and verified email address. If your address already has a Missived account, you confirm with its password once before Google can sign you in, and a two-factor check is still asked for. Settings → Account & Security → Sign-in methods shows how you sign in, adds or removes Google, and emails you a link to set a password. In the desktop app, use the browser for Google.
- Org settingsOnly what you use. Owners and Admins can switch off any feature the workspace doesn't need — prayer requests, meal trains, looking-for-group, giveaways, quizzes, Tables, Shifts, flash cards, whiteboards, Knowledge, forums, the Virtual Office and more — in the new Org Settings → Features, one by one or from a preset (Business, Church, Gaming). A switched-off feature disappears for everyone: the sidebar, the top bar, the new-channel types, Activity and the / menu. Nothing is deleted: Owners and Admins still see its channels, greyed and read-only, and switching it back on brings everything back as it was. Features your plan doesn't include say so, with a link to the plans.
- GamingOn Creator and Business, a channel can have a Games tab: a tile for each game your community plays, and on each one the groups people are forming, with platform, region, now or a start time, how many players they need, mic, rank and a note. Join, ask to join or take the waitlist; the host can accept, remove, hand over, extend or close the group, and each group has its own thread in the channel. Groups end on their own.
- AccountSigning up now asks for the month and year you were born; we keep only the year. You must be at least 13 (or older if your country requires it), and if we learn an account belongs to someone under 13, we delete it. Accounts made before today are asked once when they next open the app. We don't ask for ID.
- PrivacyPeople aged 13 to 17 get teen-safe settings until they turn 18: only members of their own workspaces can start a DM or group with them, their email is hidden from other members, channels marked 18+ are hidden, and notifications leave out message text unless they turn it on. See them in Settings → Account.
- ChatA word filter now checks messages, edits and names before they're saved. Slurs, hate terms and sexually explicit words are blocked everywhere; swearing is blocked by default too, and a workspace's Owner can switch that off or add and allow words in Org Settings → Settings → Word filter. If something's blocked, nothing is sent, you see why, and your text stays in the box to fix.
- ChatOwners and Admins can mark a channel 18+ from its right-click menu, for mature topics. Sexually explicit content isn't allowed anywhere, 18+ channels included.
- SafetyRight-click someone's name or open the member list to Report an underage account; anyone without an account can use the form at /report-underage. Reports come to us, and we delete accounts we confirm.
- PlansEnterprise is a fifth plan for large organisations: everything in Business, plus bigger Stages, audit log streaming, a data processing agreement, invoicing, priority support and onboarding, or support for a self-hosted install. Single sign-on and SCIM are in development. Talk to us from the new Enterprise page. Business keeps Stages as before.
- Being open about itNew pages for churches, gaming guilds and creators and businesses, each showing the features that group uses, how far we've tested them, and the plan made for them.
- Being open about itThe features page now shows forum channels, looking for group, laser pointers on screen shares, the word filter and age rules, self-hosting and desktop app 0.1.9, with screenshots taken from the real app. The home page and the pages for churches, gamers and businesses list them too.
- Meetingsmissived.com now shows how meeting guests join: from a link in their browser, with no download and no account, waiting in a lobby until a host lets them in.
- PlansGuest seats are explained in the same words on the pricing page and in the app: a guest seat is a lasting account for someone outside your team, and people you invite to a one-off meeting by link never use one.
- CallsPoint at someone's shared screen with your own coloured dot. Turn on Laser on the share and move your mouse over it, or touch and hold it on a phone; everyone watching sees your dot in your colour, with your name when they hover it. The person sharing (or a host) can turn pointers off for their screen. Works in voice channels, DM and group calls and meetings, and nothing about it is stored or recorded.
- ChatA new Forum channel type for questions and how-tos. Each post has a title, tags and its own replies; the person who asked (or a moderator) can mark the answer, and anyone can mark a reply Helpful. Sort by latest activity, newest, most helpful, unanswered or unsolved, and filter by tag, status or your own posts. Moderators set the tags, can ask for at least one on every post and can give new posts a template. Every plan includes forums: one on Free, more on paid plans.
- ForumsSearch a forum by title, question and replies, with the matching words highlighted; posts also show up in the workspace search as "Post · Title". While you write a title, similar posts appear so you can check whether it's been asked. Moderators can lock replies, close or reopen a post, close it as a duplicate of another, pin it as a guide, move it to another forum, and turn on slow mode or limits for new members (one post a day, no links). If someone else moves or deletes your post, you're told.
- ForumsFollow a post or a tag. You follow your own posts and the ones you reply to (you can turn that off), and new replies, an answer to your question, your reply marked as the answer and new posts in a tag you follow show up in Activity, batched so a busy thread is one line. Replies to your own post can also send a push. Followed posts with new replies get a dot, and a Following filter shows just those. Moderators can save an accepted answer to the channel's Knowledge as a draft.
- Look and feelmissived.com uses more of a big screen: a wider page with more room between sections, larger headings, and grids with more columns, while paragraphs stay an easy line length. The top bar on a computer is calmer, with Features, Who it's for, Pricing, Self-host and Download, and everything else under More; the menus work from the keyboard too. Phones look exactly as before.
- DevelopersForums are in the API: list, search and read posts, start one, change its title or tags, mark the answer, and get events when a post is started, changed, solved or closed. AI assistants connected over MCP can search a forum and read a post before asking.
- Self-hostingThe self-host page now explains the planned relay stack and how to use your own Cloudflare Tunnel for chat, including who can read the traffic and the extra connection calls need. Hosted names and our passthrough tunnel are still coming next.
Business pricing, room for more files and better bug reports
- Self-hostingA new self-host page walks you through running Missived on a Linux server, a Mac or a Windows PC, step by step, starting on the computer you're using. Hosted names and home tunnels aren't ready yet; you can join a waitlist, and we'll use your email only to send your setup code.
- PlansBusiness is $4 per active user per month at every team size ($3.20 billed yearly), with a 3-seat minimum of $12. It includes everything in Ministry and Creator, with cameras up to 1440p and screen share up to 4K. Ministry and Creator keep their Starter sizes. Paid workspaces can ask for extra storage from Org Settings and track the request in Activity; the app makes no charge.
- ChatAfter a lost connection or a server restart, the conversation you have open fills in any messages that arrived while you were reconnecting.
- ReliabilityMissived's server can now run as several copies that share the work, on the machines we already have, so a busy hour doesn't queue up behind one. We switch it on as the service grows; nothing changes for you.
- Bug reportsAdd a screenshot to a bug report, and crop it or blur anything private before it's sent.
- Bug reportsWhen we switch on our AI assistant for bug reports, the form will say so and offer "Send to our team only". The assistant reads only what you send, without who you are, and it's listed on our privacy page. Reports it helps with tell you "Fixed in …" in Activity and by email once the fix ships. It's off for now.
- Being open about itGrand Admins can keep a private, device-by-device test log in the Console’s Verify tab. Passed checks can update the public production-verification badges through a checked pull request; notes and participants stay private.
Call layouts, workspace export and a docs hub
- AccountAdding a sign-in factor or a personal API token now asks for your password and current two-step check. Invite and overlay URLs are shown when created; existing links keep working. Guests receive live people updates only for people they can see.
- Being open about itNew pages on missived.com: a changelog, a roadmap, what's tested for every feature, and security in plain words. Each plan now says who it's made for, and who it isn't.
- What's newThe app's account menu (You, on a phone) has a What's new page with everything we've shipped, and a count of what's new since you last looked.
- CallsEveryone in a call now has a tile, with their camera or their picture. Right-click (or long-press) anyone's tile to set how loud they are for you.
- CallsA Layout picker (press L) lets you choose how a call is arranged, and a new screen share no longer takes over the whole call on its own.
- CallsSoft sounds when someone joins or leaves a call, with a setting to change or turn them off and a preview.
- CallsIn a call that's full of speakers, hosts can bring a listener up to talk and listeners can raise a hand, without switching the call to a Stage first.
- DataOwners can download the whole workspace as a zip from Org Settings → Data. DMs, group chats and personal channels are never included, and the other Owners and Admins are told when an export is made.
- TablesA formula can read results from another Table you can open, like
{Budget}. If you lose access to it, the formula shows an error instead of the data.
- TablesRead and write Table rows over the API, with events when rows change, and Table actions in the Zapier and n8n apps (by invitation).
- DevelopersOne docs hub lists everything you can customise or connect, with who can use it, which plans include it and whether it needs setting up. 18 new guides and a search box.
- Desktop app 0.1.8The call changes and workspace export above, everything from October 21 and 22, the Graphite & Wax colours inside the app, and a fix for the YouTube player, which showed an error in the app.
Privacy hardening and sizes for every plan
- PrivacyCalls connect only through our own media server. The app no longer hands your browser Google's or Twilio's public servers to find a route, so they never see who is calling.
- PrivacyDeleting a message, a file or a workspace now deletes the stored files too, not just the record of them.
- AccountSettings → Account has Download my data (a zip of your profile, your messages and the files you uploaded) and Delete my account, which waits 7 days so you can change your mind.
- NotificationsA setting to keep message text out of your notifications and emails, and a workspace setting so Owners can make that the rule for everyone.
- PrivacyOur database backups are always encrypted before they're stored.
- PlansMinistry and Creator are priced by the size of the workspace, and Business guest seats and storage grow with your paid users. The pricing page explains why it costs what it costs.
A new look, four plans and Stages
- Look and feelMidnight, a warm charcoal dark mode, is the default, and Daylight is one switch away everywhere, including the sign-in pages. New Graphite & Wax colours and a new Missived mark, which follows your theme in the browser tab and the desktop app's icon.
- PlansFour plans: Free, Ministry, Creator and Business, each with the limits on the pricing page. New workspaces get a 14-day Creator trial, with reminders before it ends. Nothing is deleted when a trial ends.
- CallsStages: hosts and the people they invite talk, everyone else listens and can raise a hand. Each workspace has a number of people who can be in calls at once, shown when it's reached.
- Virtual OfficeUpload your own music and sounds for office floors and stream alerts. YouTube, Spotify and SoundCloud players appear only if a workspace turns them on, and they're labelled so you know that service can see you.
- TablesCards on phones, shared views for an outside partner, CSV and Excel import and export, a conversation thread on every row, and notifications when rows you follow change.
- TablesInvite outside Guests into one workspace category. They see only that category, not the rest of the workspace.
- WhiteboardsWhiteboard fonts now come from our own servers instead of a third-party site.
- missived.comA refreshed site with the whole feature set and our privacy promise: we never sell or share your data.
- Desktop app 0.1.6Two weeks of new features in the app: Tables, flash cards, prayer follow-ups, meeting files and whiteboards. Links you copy in the app (a Table row, an overlay, a quiz QR code) now open for other people.
- Desktop app 0.1.7The Graphite & Wax look and the new app icon.
Tables, flash cards and prayer follow-ups
- TablesA Table is a channel with a grid: typed columns (dates, people, dropdowns, currency and more), formulas worked out on the server, and every change kept in history. On the Business plan.
- TeamsHand a category over to a team lead for a while; their extra powers end on the date you choose.
- Flash cardsShared decks in any channel, studied on your own spaced-repetition schedule, with reminders. Import Anki decks or CSV.
- PrayerPeople who prayed for a request hear when there's an update or an answer, and a daily digest gathers what's open. Anonymous requests stay anonymous.
- ChannelsThe new-channel card shows every kind of channel (text, voice, prayer, Table and more) with a line about each.
- CallsAn Outdoor noise-reduction level for wind, which Missived suggests when it hears a gust, and cleaner sound from people with noisy rooms.
- MeetingsShare files and draw on a live whiteboard inside a meeting, guests included. They stay on the meeting page afterwards.
- CallsSharper video that fits each tile, and a live readout of what you're sending and receiving.
- PhonesActivity items no longer pop back as unread after you've seen them.
Meetings inside the app
- MeetingsA meeting you join opens inside the app, with your channels and tabs around it, and the call fills the space it has.
Integrations for creators, churches and guilds
- CreatorsFollow Twitch, YouTube Live and Kick channels: go-live posts, stream alerts, "Live now" on your hub and a live line by your name. These need setting up on our side first; ask us.
- CreatorsNew-patron and tip cards and alerts from Patreon, Ko-fi and StreamElements, and roles for subscribers and patrons that update themselves.
- GuildsGame-server status for Source and Steam servers, Minecraft and BattleMetrics, with a live card and
/server. Steam "now playing" and roles for owning a game.
- ChurchesPlanning Center: this Sunday's teams and plan changes in a channel, people updates, and the church calendar in Missived's.
- ChurchesBible verses: type
/verse John 3:16, or post a verse of the day. KJV and WEB are built in.
- IntegrationsBridges to Telegram and Discord with your own bot, both ways, threads included.

/issue, re-run checks with a button and see link cards. It needs setting up on our side first.
- IntegrationsIncoming webhooks for GitLab, Sentry, Linear, Stripe and PagerDuty.
- DevelopersSchedule meetings and give or take custom roles over the API.
Full history and a clearer roles screen
- ChatScroll back through a channel's whole history, jump to a date, and keep your place when new messages arrive.
- AdminRoles show on every member, you can drag roles into order, and "Why can they…?" explains exactly which role gives someone a permission. Departments can be managed from the same place.
- Virtual OfficeA mini-map keeps you on the floor while you work elsewhere in the app, and your spot is kept as you move around.
An API, bots, apps and AI assistants
- DevelopersA documented REST API with personal and app tokens, signed outgoing events, a real-time bot gateway, slash commands, buttons and forms on bot messages, and a TypeScript bot SDK.
- Developers"Sign in with Missived" and "Add to Missived" for other services, and a reviewed app gallery.
- AI assistantsConnect Claude and other AI assistants to read and post as you, only with the permissions you give them. On Business, an admin turns it on.
- IntegrationsFeeds (RSS, Atom, YouTube uploads, podcasts and status pages) into a channel, a channel's own email address for posting by email (it needs setting up on our side first), and Zapier and n8n apps (by invitation).
- Look and feelChat backgrounds: gradients and patterns for the chat, sidebar and threads, kept readable automatically.
- ChatYour name, picture shape and colour in each workspace now show in its chat too, with more shapes and colour pickers.
- PhonesNo more gap under the message box after you send, and a clearer card for making channels and categories.
- VoiceRight-click a voice channel to join, rename it or change its notifications.
Notifications that arrive, and link previews
- NotificationsPush notifications go to the right device and skip only the one you're looking at, tapping one opens the right place, and Settings shows whether this device can get them.
- CalendarsSubscribe Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar to your meetings, shifts and events.
- ChatLink previews are saved when a message is sent, and bots and webhooks can post rich cards.
- IntegrationsIncoming webhooks in Discord's and Slack's formats (plus GitHub), personal API tokens in Settings → Developer, and one Integrations page in Org Settings.
- Desktop app 0.1.5Text boxes that ask for a name now work in the app, and the app shows its own notifications.
Right-click menus
- EverywhereOne right-click menu across the app, the same as the long-press sheet on phones. In the desktop app, paste and spelling suggestions work.
- CallsScreen shares are tiles that never cover the call's buttons, and the list of who's in a voice channel stays right.
- Desktop app 0.1.4The new menus and the call fixes.
Calls that follow you
- CallsA call keeps going while you move around the app, in a small dock, and starting a second call asks before it ends the first.
- MeetingsShrink a meeting into the dock and carry on chatting.
- PhonesA proper call screen on phones, with Rejoin after your phone pauses the call.
- Look and feelThe desktop header is two rows instead of three.
- Desktop app 0.1.2 and 0.1.3The new top bar, Meetings, and calls that keep going as you move around the app.
Meetings, phones and the Virtual Office's sound
- MeetingsSchedule meetings, invite anyone by email with calendar files that update, let guests in from a lobby, and run the call with host controls. No account or install for guests.
- PhonesInstall Missived to your home screen. A phone layout with bottom tabs, Activity, a You page, Shifts as an agenda and the Virtual Office.
- Virtual OfficeVoices come from where people sit: your table is clear and nearby tables fade. Each person sets their own Table and Nearby levels.
- Look and feelA new top bar with your places as tabs and one Activity feed for everything waiting on you.
- SecurityStronger sign-in: passwords are checked against common and known-breached ones, and you can see your sessions and sign out of any of them.
- PrivacyEvery file link is signed for the person viewing it, and images from other sites load through our servers.
- Desktop app 0.1.1The first Missived app for Mac and Windows, with its own notifications and the same features as the web.
