Missived for Mac and Windows.
The desktop app keeps Missived running in the background, so you hear about mentions and messages without a browser tab open, push-to-talk works while you're in another app, and people can see when you've stepped away.
Version · Free during the beta. You'll need a Missived account to sign in.
What you need
Mac
macOS 12 Monterey or later. One download runs natively on both Apple silicon and Intel Macs.
Open the .dmg and drag Missived into Applications.
Windows
Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.
Run the installer. It installs for your account only, with no administrator prompt.
Linux or your phone
There's no app for these yet. Missived works fully in a modern browser at app.missived.com.
Opening it the first time
These are early beta builds, and they aren't signed by Apple or Microsoft yet, so your computer will be cautious the first time you open Missived.
Mac: if macOS won't open Missived because it can't verify the developer, open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click Open Anyway. You only need to do this once. For now, new versions on the Mac are installed by downloading again from this page.
Windows: if you see "Windows protected your PC", click More info, then Run anyway. After that, Missived keeps itself up to date.
